After the Friday evening before the race, all we expected the worst. But it was not. As I approached the Zorion about 10am in the morning, the clouds moved away giving way to a beautiful sun that we might be in store for a good sailing day, a good day of racing.
At 10.30 pm I get the rest of the crew of Jon Anderson, Unai, Hayden and Eladio, the latter two in charge of media hype. It was not until 11 am when we cast off and set out to trace the river, to the starting line.
to 12h to output the horn sounded we were zig-zageando between boats near the dock of Benedicta.
After hearing the horn put towards the mouth of the river, ...
and before putting on the suspension bridge hoisted the spinnaker. To contribute to one of the most beautiful pictures of the year.
The rest of the journey was to take the buoy on the port side of San Ignacio and then a triangle within the open interior with arrival between the committee boat and a buoy. The committee boat was very close to the Real Club Marítimo del Abra, then as we crossed the finish line, we moor the floating dock RCMA for snack and then continue by giving short edges, skippered by Hayden, the open interior.
Congratulations to the winner of the general, the "No Respect." Zorionak
the crew of Zorion by el trabajo bien hecho.
